We are proud to help make #HigherEd and #EdTech an inclusive place for all. As we celebrate #PrideMonth2023, Liaison will continue to empower members of the LGBTQ+ community year-round. We hope this page serves as a resource center for allies and members of the community alike to find opportunities for support, celebration, and advocacy.

LIAISON PRIDE EVENTS (internal only)
Safe Zone Training | June 9
Led by the impressive Rocky Graziano, employees were invited to a 90-minute Pride Safe Zone Training on June 9th. The training covered various topics like inclusive language, how to spread support in difficult scenarios, and the importance of the Genderbread Person. We deeply appreciate Rocky’s LGBTQ+ knowledge that led this training full of audience participation and continued advocacy!
Pride Family Feud | June 15
After a hilarious, mind-bending round of Family Feud, it’s safe to say Liaison would not have made it very far on the actual game show! Led by the fabulous Miss Joanna, eight teams formed from throughout the company to test their random knowledge and compete for prizes. Joanna kept us laughing with her ‘wrong answer chicken’ and offered up hints when we were truly stumped by questions like “name something a son learns from his father”.
Liaison Pride Panel | June 22
Powerful is the only word that accurately describes the support and encouragement that culminated during our internal Pride Panel this month. The members of this inaugural panel included Deb Erdner, David Poole, Stephen Naso, Erin Kennedy, Ryan Gregg, and our esteemed host, Corey Hoyt. Panelists shared personal stories of struggling in social and professional settings, the best parades and celebrations they’ve ever attended, and insights from the LGBTQ+ community. With a supportive audience of +95, the panel received impactful questions and heartfelt responses in the chat for the duration of this live discussion.
The biggest takeaway? We are proud to work for a company that values the LGBTQ+ community of members and allies alike; safe spaces are invaluable!
